Meeting Point celebrates 15 years

The community of Armley came together on Saturday 7th July to celebrate 15 years of Meeting Point. The staff and volunteers opened the doors to the local community with a BBQ, refreshments, live music, DJ, singing, dancing and facepainting. There was also the opportunity to purchase items made by the very talented Women’s Group, find out about the partners working with Meeting Point, learn a new language and take part in the Seagulls community mosaic project. Local councillors, Alison Lowe and James McKenna also visited to show their support of the team. Most of the food and equipment used was donated, including produce from Tesco stores in Bramley and Armley and Costco wholesalers. Thank you to all who attended, donated and volunteered to make the event such a success!
